The second half presents two musical “novels,” each weaving its own unique narrative. In Faro, rising composer Claudia Jane Scroccaro conjures the spectral presence of Italian poet Amelia Rosselli through voice, language, and sound. Meanwhile, Michael Jarrell’s Archipelagos charts the odyssey of a solo percussionist, culminating in a haunting return to the island of origin—with dusting of sound.
