Founded 40 years ago, the MEGO electro label pays tribute to one of its key figures: English experimental artist Peter Rehberg, who passed away in 2021. Fennesz, O'Rourke, Russel Haswell and Oneohtrix Point Never were also part of the MEGO galaxy. But MEGO, whose acronym evokes the expression "My Eyes Glaze Over" coined by physicist Herman Kahn, signifies, above all, looking to the future. A new generation, less noisy and using analog synthesizers, will be presented by artist and improviser Caterina Barbieri - accompanied by pioneers of the genre - during these evenings organized with the Centre Pompidou.
