Composer Martin Matalon and the BL!NDMAN [drums] collective offer six young composers a ciné-concert workshop, to create original scores for comic silent films. Out of the Inkwell, an essential surrealist and burlesque series from 1920s silent cinema, pushes the boundaries between reality and the screen, featuring Koko the clown who comes to life and escapes his creator. In The Cook Buster Keaton as a wacky daredevil waiter juggles with the cook, Roscoe Arbuckle playing Fatty, a recurring character at the Comique Film Corporation.
