The composer Nicolas Frize explores the work of Roland Barthes in this creation that combines art and philosophy, semiology, and musical and literary performance. Live musical sequences, video and radio archives, extracts of texts, unpublished drawings... these elements, juxtaposed or simultaneous, cut into reflections and echoes, create a dense and refined abundance. Mixing the pleasure of the text, the strength of the sounds, and the grain of the voice—real or recomposed by computer engineering—Nicolas Frize imagines here a personal approach of Barthes' philosophy. In the first part, the public will go through "Œuvre latérale", a spatialized sound creation in the Centre Pomidou’s Forum.
